Labour Stability on Canada’s West Coast 

The Ottawa Board of Trade, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and stakeholders across the country are advocating for labour stability on Canada's West Coast in order to minimize the impacts that labour stoppages could have on the supply chain.

On June 13th, we co-signed a letter with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and over 120 associations, chambers of commerce and boards of trade requesting the government’s active engagement with this bargaining process and that it be prepared to act to prevent a labour disruption. It is imperative that the federal government work with the parties to secure an affordable, stable, and efficient supply chain.
